Two Months After This Highlight

Considering the high level of vehicular accidents in Ghana, one
would think that emergency units would be a top infrastructure priority.

However, reports like the one by Starr FM's Lambert Atsivor, which states: "The Peki Government Hospital in the South Dayi District of the Volta Region is in dire need of an Emergency unit to enable it attend swiftly to cases of such nature," are all too common in the country.


As the report states:

The Peki Government Hospital is one of two major health facilities along the eastern corridor road and it records a monthly average of 3 major accident cases.
